You are guaranteed to be satisfied with your Lancaster Home!
Chris Franz grew up in the home building industry all his life, having been mentored first by his father Eddie during the summer months of his middle and high school years. So, when Chris first joined Lancaster Homes as its first employee, he already had a strong foundation, having also served as a warranty assistant for Dover Homes as an intern. Over the next 20 years, Chris developed formidable expertise in construction, building an estimated 400 homes and remodeling dozens more, working throughout the Greater Houston area and beyond. Though he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, Chris feels his most valuable education is the one he receives each day on the job.
A 50-year veteran of the building industry, Eddie Franz’s reach has spanned across the Houston, Austin, and San Antonio metropolitan areas. Eddie started his career as a construction superintendent and construction manager before building custom and production homes in the mid-1970s. He soon branched out into the construction of commercial real estate, multi-family residences, remodeling, and land development. Through the course of his extensive career, Eddie has built more than 2,000 single family homes and has built in and/or developed an estimated 60 subdivisions. A member of the Greater Houston Builders Association, the Houston Realtors Association, and the National Association of Home Builders, Eddie holds a bachelor’s degree in business along with a real estate broker’s license. A second-generation builder who believes in the power of hard work, Eddie strives to instill a love for quality home building in his own sons, Cullen and Chris.
A third-generation home builder, Cullen Franz has been managing the building of residential and light commercial construction for 19 years. He has overseen the construction and build-out of over 120 new homes, as well as several multi-unit commercial buildings, in both the Greater Houston and Greater Boston areas. Building homes and light commercial properties in diverse climate zones has given Cullen valuable exposure to a wide range of best building practices and the constant evolution of design trends. Cullen graduated with honors from Wentworth Institute in Boston with a degree in construction management while managing a 91-lot subdivision in South Grafton, MA. He actively maintains a construction supervisor’s license and a real estate license. As a sales and marketing manager, Cullen has a unique understanding and passion for merging healthy, home building science techniques with popular custom home designs trends.
